Structural Division

By the 1880’s, geologists had already plumbed the depths of the vast marble deposit in North Georgia. They found that the marble was of exceptional beauty and strength. Tests would show that Georgia Marble was unequaled as an exterior finish for buildings because of its purity and extremely low absorption properties. Architects from all over America sampled the stone and specified it for some of America's most prestigious structures.

The Structural Division was formed early in the company's history to handle the many requests for structural marble. At this facility the marble is shaped into panels, columns, floor tiles and all special needs specified by the architect. The Structural Division has seen many architectural styles come and go over the past century, and can fabricated any type of design old or new.

The Structural Division is also a large volume importer of foreign marble and granite with sources all over the world. The photos below are a few of the buildings and structures that feature Georgia Marble.
